HBBA Members, Slate Belt area businesses and Lehigh Valley friends, please sign up to become a vendor for this wonderful community event on Sunday December 8th from 12pm to 3pm in downtown Bangor.
The Historic Bangor Business Association is hosting it’s Holiday Cookie & Treats Trail and Competition in downtown Bangor. Winners will receive a plaque and bragging rights. Judging categories include “People’s Choice for Best Overall Cookie Treat”, “Most Festive Cookie in the Slate Belt”, etc. Vendors will be set up at area businesses and restaurants on Broadway.
THERE IS NO FEE TO BECOME A COOKIE VENDOR if just have to bring cookies to be sampled and judged. Cookie treats may be any size, shape, or variation but ‘cookie’ themed. For example, you may make cookie bars and cut them into pieces or you may bake your grandma's favorite cookie recipe. You may also enter a “cookie themed” item... for example: Chocolate Chip Cookie Cheesecake, individual Cookies & Creme Mousse cups, or Sugar Cookie Hot Chocolate. Be creative, all you have to do is tell us what you are going to sample and we’ll get you signed up. But sign up early because we don’t want too many repeated items. STORE BOUGHT COOKIE TREATS ARE NOT PERMISSIBLE, SAMPLES MUST BE HOMEMADE.
Lets come together this holiday season to downtown Bangor for some fun and cheer. Monies raised from ticket sales will go back to the HBBA, an official not-for-profit charitable 501c3 organization, to be used for future events. We will also be collecting dog & cat food, supplies, donations and gift cards for the Slate Belt Animal Advocacy group.
